This program is for young carers caring for a parent or sibling experiencing a mental health problem. It is a supportive and safe environment for children to learn and talk about mental illness while participating in fun games and making new friends.

Camp Breakaway Young Carers and Siblings Camps – San Remo
These camps are great respite for young carers and siblings of children with disabilities, rare disorders or high medical needs. They focus on providing fun and exciting experiences for children, building confidence and independence away from home and meeting, forming friendships with others and participating as a group in this positive and fun environment.
Who: Young carers aged 5 to 18 years (school aged)
When: These camps are held twice yearly, from 16-19 January 2018 and 17-20 July 2018
